Whether starting in San Carlos de Bariloche, Comodoro Rivadavia, Esquel or El Calafate, the tour takes us to places and regions of incredible beauty, mountain roads that connect small towns, farms and inns in unique places.

Each day of the tour brings new experiences, a unique place in Argentina, an unknown national park, the history of inhabitants of different origins, small little-visited towns, lakes of incredible beauty with waters of different shades from deep blue to brilliant turquoise.
During this experience you will be able to visit the Marble Chapels, the Perito Moreno National Park, the Los Glaciares National Park and, in addition, you will have many activities included throughout your tour!

Route 40 itinerary from Comodoro

Arrival in the city of Comodoro Rivadavia and delivery of a rented car.
We suggest visiting Comodoro Rivadavia and leaving for Lago Buenos Aires. Night in Los Antiguos
Quiet day to rest from the long journey and visit Los Antiguos, considered the capital of fine fruit. The location of the inn on Lake Buenos Aires offers unique views.
A unique experience. It is an organized excursion to visit the marble Cathedrals found in Chile.
A very special formation and worth visiting!
From Los Antiguos we go to Lago Posadas following a route of particular beauty. On the way we recommend visiting the famous Cueva de las Manos, visiting its main eaves. Night in Lake Posadas.

day 5
Free day to tour Lake Posadas, Lake Pueyrredón, Cañadón del Río Oro and in the distance Cerro San Lorenzo, the highest peak in Santa Cruz.
Returning to Route 40 we continue towards the South where the Estancia La Angostura is located.
This place is chosen to rest.
The Kusanic family settled in the region in 1878 and since then they have maintained the ranch with their production.

day 7
Free day to rest and carry out optional activities such as: Horseback riding at the ranch (with prior reservation).
Sighting of the Maca Tobiano.
Visit to the Perito Moreno National Park (unmissable) outside the ranch.
From La Angostura we return to Route 40 to depart for El Chaltén, where the stay is two nights.

El Chaltén is a beautiful town that invites you to walk and get in touch with nature.
Its development is surprising, the number of activities that can be organized and also the varied and good gastronomy of the place.
This day includes a fun Kayak in the Río de las Vueltas. No prior experience or special equipment is needed.

A totally different way to enjoy the area! This day can be complemented with a visit to Lago del Desierto or take a short walk to some of the viewpoints.
Departure from El Chaltén to El Calafate.

The route has been designed to be extremely pleasant and panoramic, nothing better for a farewell to El Chaltén.
Arrival and accommodation.

Meeting with the guide at the hotel for a fun journey through the steppe with unique views of Lake Argentino.

Undoubtedly also to enjoy the Perito Moreno Glacier as the “Grand Finale” of our tour.

To appreciate the immensity of the glacier, it is recommended to walk the walkways that offer different viewpoints and angles from which you can see the immense river of ice!
