Trip detail

We invite you to explore the wonders of the Patagonian fjords with Australis,
an expedition cruise company that covers the main attractions of this area and Tierra del Fuego:
the Strait of Magellan, the Beagle Channel and Cape Horn.
In 28 years of sailing we have taken travelers from all continents to know one of
the most beautiful and virgin regions of the world, navigating through the Patagonian channels.

Itinerary

Check in between 10:00 and 17:00. Boarding at 6:00 p.m.
We will sail through the Murray Channel and Nassau Bay arriving at
Cabo de Hornos National Park, where we will disembark if the
climatic conditions allow it. In the afternoon we will disembark
in Wulaia Bay, a historic site that was one of the settlements
largest of the native Yámanas canoeists.
In the morning we will sail through the Northwest arm of the channel
Beagle to enter and disembark at Pia Fjord. We will perform
an excursion to the viewpoint from where you can see the
homonymous glacier, whose main tongue extends from above
from the mountain range to the sea. During the afternoon we will enter
to the Garibaldi Fjord, for a walk through the cold jungle
Patagonian, climbing to the base of a waterfall of glacial origin.
In the morning we will navigate the Cockburn channel to enter
in the bosom of Agostini, where it will be possible to appreciate the glaciers
that descend from the center of the Darwin mountain range, reaching
some of them to the sea. During the morning, we will disembark
in Zodiac boats for a gentle walk around a
lagoon formed by the melting of the Águila glacier, until the
which we will come to be face to face. In the afternoon we will do a
navigation in Zodiacs boats to get closer to the Condor glacier.
First thing in the morning, weather conditions permitting,
We will disembark on Magdalena Island. During our walk
towards the lighthouse we will be able to appreciate a colony of 120,000 penguins of
Magellan. In September and April this excursion is replaced by
a landing on Marta Island where you can see sea lions
South Americans from the Zodiac boats. Finally you reach Punta
Arenas, disembarking at 11:30 am.
